Season Five of Z Nation finds Warren and Our Heroes at the birth of a nation when they finally reach Newmerica -- just in time to help save it from a new, post-Black Rain zombie threat: TALKERS. The mixed-up-modified Black Rain has one main side effect, instead of melting zombies for a reset, it has restored the consciousness of the undead, particularly any zombie who died post-Black Rain.
